Background:
Poems followed work on the theme of pets and animals.
The students were asked to combine their new vocabulary with previous work on liking (il/elle aime...) and personal description (various adjectives) to produce amusing poems that could rhyme.
An initial model was provided as a basis from which to work.
Possible rhymes were suggested by the students.
Students could use dictionaries.
